Peppermint

Peppermint is Mother Nature’s painkiller and is the perfect choice for dulling the pain of ailments in the body. If suffering from cramps, headaches and painful limbs try giving hot peppermint tea a go. It may not completely relieve the pain but it will certainly help bring it down to a more manageable level without resorting to painkillers.

Chamomile

Chamomile tea is a blessing when it comes to sleep deprivation. As a natural sedative, this is a wonderful plant to help relax and calm you for a well-rested and deserved good night’s sleep. This natural treatment is also a good choice when it comes to suffering from intestinal problems or any bouts of nausea. The flower itself contains soothing and comforting chemicals called ‘flavonoids’ which help to settle the stomach.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus flower tea is extremely flavourful and jam-packed with antioxidants! Not only is it a refreshing choice but thanks to the high vitamin intake, this tea can seriously help bring down high blood pressure levels. If unhealthy weight gain is a problem, try drinking hibiscus tea to help curb sugar cravings and boost liver health. This flower may also leave your hair feeling glossier too!

Lemon Balm

Lemon Balm is definitely the tea you need if suffering from any form of anxiety, nervousness or stress. This minty-smelling herb is another natural sedative, helping to calm both the mind and the soul in uncomfortable situations. Lemon balm can also aid in digestive issues, inflammation and tackling viruses - making it a must-have for all cold sore sufferers!
